What We’re Doing

Our impactful projects currently being organized or supported

Early Intervention

Helping Children Achieve Their Maximum Potential

Early Intervention (EI) is a very important and the most significant step in early childhood development.

Why it matters :

Early identification and timely intervention can significantly improve a child’s mobility, communication, and independence—preventing lifelong disability impacts.

Assistive Technology Program

Restoring Mobility, Independence, and Dignity

More than 5000 children and youth with various disabilities at Amar Seva Sangam, India, are supported by Handi-Care Intl. Many of them need essential mobility devices and equipment which they cannot afford.

Why it matters :

Access to the right assistive device at the right time dramatically improves therapy outcomes, reduces caregiver burden, and enables school enrollment and independent living—yet such equipment is often unaffordable and unsupported by government aid.

Sponsor a Child

Transforming lives from childhood to independence

Provides long-term care, education, and rehabilitation, helping children with disabilities grow into independent adults.

Why it matters :

Sponsoring a child provides long-term, consistent support—helping children with disabilities grow into independent, confident, and productive adults.

Sponsor a Youth

From Education to Employment—Building Independent Futures

Supports education and vocational training, enabling youth with disabilities to achieve employment and self-reliance.

Ideal for :

Youth with disabilities often face limited access to higher education and job opportunities. With the right education, vocational skills, and support, they can become independent, confident, and economically self-reliant.

Meal for a Day Program

Celebrate a special day by nourishing young lives

Sponsors nutritious meals for children with disabilities—honoring special occasions while ensuring no child goes hungry.

Why it matters :

For children and youth with disabilities from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, a nutritious meal is essential for health, learning, and rehabilitation. This program ensures no child goes hungry—while allowing donors to honor meaningful life moments.

Canadian Rehabilitation Support

Canadian Rehabilitation Support Program

Helping children with disabilities and their families in Canada, by providing added support towards their rehabilitation needs.

Ideal for :

Children with other forms of disabilities also require rehabilitation services as well as Assistive Technology and Accessible home modifications. Most health insurance plans barely cover a small fraction of these expenses.

Go Dhaan (Donate a Cow)

Nourishing Children Through a Timeless Tradition

Creates a sustainable source of milk and nutrition for children through a time-honored tradition.

Why it matters :

Donating a milk-yielding cow is a long-standing tradition rooted in compassion and service. It creates a sustainable source of nutrition, ensuring children with disabilities receive milk and dairy products essential for growth, health, and rehabilitation.
